Vinayaka Nimarjanam procedure to be followed at home after puja | Ganesh Chaturthi Special

 

Vinayaka Nimarjanam, The immersion of Lord Ganesha's idol, is a significant ritual marking the culmination of the Vinayaka Chaturthi festival.

Five items like beautiful flowers, Diyas/oil lamps, Dhoop, Gandha, and Naivedya are to be offered to Lord Vinayaka. With the chanting of the holy mantras and do complete puja, Ganpati Aarti is to be performed before the idol is moved for Visarjan and the Prasad is to be distributed among family members.
